The Steelworkers' Health Care Workers Council provides experienced negotiators to help you collective bargain effectively with the administration on short staffing concerns and unsafe working conditions. Our health care contracts include health and safety committees that actually represent your interests and not just the interests of the facilities where you work.

In addition, the Council will train members of your local union on how to hold facilities accountable for unsafe staffing. Documenting unsafe working conditions is one of the most important steps in changing workplace conditions. We will provide you with the tools and training that you will need to make positive changes for all workers in your facility.
