It's the Helping Time of Year for Local 286

Beginning November 20, USW Local 286 in Lincoln, Nebraska, placed collection boxes or barrels at both their plant entrances and at the Union Hall where members could bring new or gently used women's clothes, children's clothes, coats or mittens.

All donations are to be used to help support the Fresh Start Home in Havelock. Any items that Fresh Start Home cannot use will be given to help out to charities such as the People's City Mission.

Collections will continue through December 18.
