District 4 Women of Steel Represented at the 2008 Jobs with Justice National Conference

The 2008 Jobs with Justice National Conference was held May 2-4, 2008 in Providence, Rhode Island. In attendance were Women of Steel (WOS) members from District 4 and the International Headquarters. More than 1,000 labor, community, student, and religious activists attended sessions such as building power for workers, health care for immigrant rights, campaign for a floor wage in Asia, student and youth organizing and low-income worker organizing.
