“All things considered I am very proud of the efforts of our Sub-District Directors, Staff Representatives and Local Unions despite some very inclement weather this past weekend. They are to be commended,” Assistant to the Director John Patrick said.
Even with their annual picnic having already been scheduled for this past weekend, Local Union 13-1 didn’t miss out on the opportunity to educate people about the safety conditions of Forestry Workers in BC. They passed out handbills to all those that attended the picnic on Saturday. They also had a huge presence the previous weekend in the Houston/Galveston area when 16 activists hand billed 3 different Home Depot stores.
More photos will be added as they come in. District 13 members also leafleted the following weekend as part of the national action.
