Religious, Political, Labor Support Building For Striking Ohio Workers

Support continues to build for striking USW Local 14340 members in Cincinnati.  The operations Local 14340 is striking are owned by Cognis, a German company, and Golden Hope Plantations, a Malaysian company.

 

Members of the local have recently received support, including support letters, from religious officials, members of congress, and labor organizations from around the world.  Many of these letters are directed at one of the companies, calling on them to negotiate a fair settlement to the strike.
