AMP Teams Up with Democracy for America to Fight Back Against Corporate Influence in Elections

On Saturday, March 12th, volunteers from around Central Ohio will gather in Columbus, Ohio to take part in a massive petition drive to ensure that everyone has an equal voice in the political process.

Last December the Ohio Legislature passed sweeping election law changes that seriously diminish the rights of working families, and dangerously expand the influence of big corporations and the wealthy. A growing coalition, including the Steelworkers, is fighting back in Ohio to give voters the right to decide if this unjust law should be repealed.

AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Please join us for our Day of Action on March 12th.

WHERE: Carpenters and Joiners Union Hall
               1545 Alum Creek Dr.
               Columbus, OH 43209

WHEN:    Saturday, March 12, 2005
               There will be two shifts:
               9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm
Come for an hour or come all day!
