EFCA Rally in Harrisburg

On April 7 over 250 USW members joined with the USW Rapid Response team to rally in support of the Employee Free Choice Act. Workers from NALC, IBEW, Teamsters, SEIU, UFCW, Professional Nurses Association, CWA, AFSCME, Labors Union, Unite, delivered over 3,000 letters to Senator Specter asking him to reconsider his position on the Employee Free Choice Act.

It should be noted that Homeland Security denied Bob McAuliffe, Steve Raysely, Frank Snyder, AFL-CIO, Nurses Association and NALC entranced to the Federal Building. A legislative aide from Specter’s office came out and accepted the letters for the Senator.
