USW Locals prepare for bargaining by Building Power

On March 13-14, USW Locals 1013, 2122 and 2210 participated in a Building Power program to jointly prepare for the upcoming bargaining with US Steel.  Discussions revolved around how to effectively communicate with all USW members, since our members are our biggest strength.  Building Communication & Action Teams (CAT Teams), creating a joint newsletter and planning joint activities were the main focus of the strategy session.  Participants also benefited from a detailed presentation about their legal rights on the shop floor.
