First USW/IP Joint Health and Safety Conference Considered a Success
For the first time ever, our union held a joint health and safety conference with IP this past fall. Members had a chance to discuss the hazards in their workplace and develop strategies to address the problems. USW Death Investigation Leads to Equipment Redesign
On August 24, 2004, Michael J. Carney lost his life saving a coworker from being struck at the Allegheny Ludlum’s Vandergrift plant in Pennsylvania. Deadly Summer for 13 Miners
