On September 10, 2007 the world lost one of the most progressive businesswomen of our time and the United Steelworkers lost a friend with the passing of Dame Anita Roddick. Women of Steel Councils in USW District 2 have been busy with many activities:
“The Hidden Face of Globalization,” a DVD dealing with workers in sweatshops around the world was presented and discussed at all Women of Steel Council Meetings.
