Rosie Opens the Floor for Special Guests
8:20 am Day 2 began with a special guest appearance of "Rosie the Riveter" (Kim Miller, a National Coordinator with the USW Rapid Response Program.) Senator Clinton and Our Own "Norma Rae"
8:15 am District 6 Director, Wayne Fraser takes a walk in the shoes of a woman – a "steel" woman. Delegates from District 6 made a bet with their Director that he would have a hard time walking in their shoes. In the mean time, they collected almost $200 for a women’s shelter. Sharing Their Experiences to Closing the Conference
8:15 am Pam Foxx, a regional coordinator for Women of Steel in District 9 was the special guest of today representing working women.
