	Steelworkers Meet and Greet Congressional Candidate, Bill Owens

On October 29, a “Meet and Greet” event was held at the United Steelworkers (USW) Local 420 hall in Massena, NY for Bill Owens who is running in a special congressional election in New York’s 23rd congressional seat.

District 4 Director, Bill Pienta and Jason Chilton, Vice-President of USW Local 450a worked with the Owens campaign staff to put on the event. USW Political Action Committee donated $5,000 to the Owens campaign.

Massena is in Northern New York along the St. Lawrence River. Local 450a and 420a represent approximately 1,000 steelworkers in the aluminum sector.
