District 7 Visits State Capitol

by Gary Gaines

District 7 Steelworkers and SOAR members stormed the gates of the Illinois Legislature in May to talk face-to-face with their Representatives and Senators.

Work spread fast that they were in town and the legislators actually left the floor to speak to the USW members.  A business card sends the message in the State of IL that the USW is "here to see you and we mean business".

The group (including some sisters and brothers from Indiana) posed for a picture of USW power at work.

A bunch of "suits" that stopped dead in their tracks when they saw all the UNION THUGS in their colors.
